Tequila Filtration

I am Jorge Machain and in this article, I will tell you about the project we did for a tequila producer.

Our customer in Arandas, Jalisco, wanted to have a twin system to their existing filtration system. The volume of tequila filtration at 6,000 liters per hour and reach a temperature of -10ºC.

Special features of the project

• Reduced space for the location of the chiller.
• Cooling of the tequila to -10ºC.
• Regeneration of the tequila temperature to 17ºC.
• Remote monitoring system.

Our solution:

• Specially manufactured 105-ton Ultra equipment, with 3 Carlyle semi-hermetic compressors and Shell Box exchangers. The chiller is configured to reach a temperature of -10ºC, which facilitates the filtration process.
• Alfa Laval heat exchanger system for cooling and regeneration.
• Eco Boss Carel monitoring system for control and monitoring via web, Lan and Local.
