The 30HX units are high-efficiency, condenserless, freshwater- or seawater-cooled chillers suitable for installation in the vessel's machinery space. The units have a quiet, low-vibration design with screw compressors. The 30HX chillers measure less than 1 m wide and are compact enough to fit through narrow hatches and access doors, making them ideal units for retrofitting.

• Chlorine-free HFC-134a refrigerant.
• Low power consumption during partial load and full load operation.
• Operating voltages available 208/230 v, 230 v, 460 v, 575 v.
• Star delta start is standard on 208/230 v and 230 v 50/60 Hz units (factory installed option for all other units).
• Fluid outlet temperature directly controlled to an accuracy of 0.5° F (0.3° C).
• Continuous monitoring of fluid inlet temperature to detect changes in flow rate or load.
• Compatible with the Carrier Comfort Network® (CCN) communication link.
• Heat recovery capacity up to 135°F (57.22°C).
