First, you must define if the process requires low temperature or is to cool water from 4 to 12°C, for cooling injection machines water from 10 to 12°C is used.

For air conditioning they are selected for a temperature of 10 to 12°C input and 4 to 7°C output from the Chiller.
It is normally assumed that for every 12,000 BTUS or 1 Ton, 16 to 20 square meters can be conditioned. However this may vary depending on how hot the area where you live is.

The main advantage is that the conductor gauge is smaller than that required for 110 volt equipment of the same capacity and therefore there may be a saving in the cost of installation.

The only detail of the 220 voltage is that in many cities of the Mexican Republic it is not customary to contract this voltage, so it is required to make a small change in the installation and go to the nearest CFE office to contract the 220 voltage.

It is very common for people to think that a 220 volt equipment consumes less energy than a 110 volt one. However, the electric company (CFE) charges us for the use of Kilowatts for each hour of use.

So what we must observe in the equipment we buy is how many Watts it consumes and we will discover that the equipment consumes practically the same Watts regardless of the voltage.
