CoreSense Protection for Copeland Scroll™ compressors is an electronic module that serves as a superior replacement for most traditional air conditioning and heat pump compressor contactors. Designed to help contractors troubleshoot residential air conditioning systems, CoreSense Protection modules use the compressor as a sensor to provide active protection and diagnostic functions, improving overall system reliability. The module monitors both the compressor and the system for detrimental conditions such as short circuits, pressure trips, locked rotor and low voltage.
